Overview
The Ottawa Hospital Rehabilitation Centre (TOHRC) helps patients maximize their independence, adapt and rebuild their lives.
We specialize in physically rehabilitating people who have experienced a disabling physical illness or injury.
Part of the Integrated Rehabilitation Program of The Ottawa Hospital, TOHRC serves the residents of eastern Ontario and Western Quebec in both official languages and is a fully accredited teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Ottawa.
TOHRC provides inpatient and outpatient services, assessing and treating patients who have such impairments as amputations, spinal cord injuries, acquired brain injuries and major strokes, lung disease, multiple sclerosis, chronic pain and communication disorders.

We count on you to participate actively in your care and w welcome your ideas to assist us in helping you. Family and others are also provided with the opportunity to participate in your rehabilitation program, with your approval.
Referrals
A referral is required to be assessed and to enter our treatment programs.
