Most of our patients come to us during a mental health crisis and need immediate, short-term care. For those who need longer-term inpatient treatment, we work closely with the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre, which accepts patient transfers. This partnership helps us keep beds available for new patients arriving through our Emergency Department.

Our mental health care is provided by a multidisciplinary team of professionals who work together to support each patient’s recovery.
