Overview
Psychologists and psychology staff at The Ottawa Hospital Rehabilitation Centre are here to support you and your family as you adjust to the physical, emotional and cognitive changes that can come with disability or chronic illness.
As the mental health professionals within the rehabilitation team at The Ottawa Hospital Rehabilitation Centre (TOHRC), psychologists provide assessment, therapy and consultation for both inpatients and outpatients. We work closely with you and your care team to understand your goals, identify your strengths and challenges and support your progress throughout rehabilitation.
Rehabilitation psychology and neuropsychology assessment and treatment can help you deal with difficulties, such as depression, anxiety, pain or changes in memory and thinking.
