With over 20 years in executive digital health leadership, Glen has contributed to the achievement of large-scale health systems initiatives and clinical transformation projects.

Glen has been described by his peers as an effective and compassionate leader whose values are reflective of the various health care organizations he’s served throughout his career. His thoughtful approach and collaborative spirit have been the driving force in the successful development of health system strategies that enable patients, digital teams and clinicians to achieve their goals. In his previous role as the Integrated Vice President, Diagnostic Services/Chief Information Officer with London Health Sciences Centre and St. Joseph’s Health Care London, Glen served a large team of administrative and medical leaders and played an integral role in advancing the mission of excellence in research, teaching and clinical care for patients actively receiving care in the community.

With his many years of experience working in health systems, Glen brings a wealth of consultation and advisory experience serving as the executive sponsor for one of six Regional Security Operating Centres (RSOC) where he worked with 11 hospitals and various other partners to implement governance, teams and technologies to demonstrate the impact of consolidating and coordinating cyber security strategies to reduce the risk to patients. As co-chair for the Cerner Collaborative (48 hospitals across Ontario), he was responsible for securing government funding to support inter-operability among acute care, long-term care services, and primary care physicians for shared care record and eReferral functionality.

In his role as Digital Health Administrative Co-Lead with the Middlesex London Ontario Health Team he built strong partnerships at the regional and provincial level in establishing a direction for a digital architecture to enable a population health management model of proactive care.

Glen obtained his Honours Business Administration (HBA) degree from the Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario, and his Master of Religious Education (MRE) from Trinity Western University, Langley, British Columbia. He’s also earned certificates from the Canadian College of Health Care Executives (CHE), and the University of Michigan’s Lean for Healthcare. Glen has also co-authored multiple research papers on the adoption and impact of electronic records technology.
